Yoga & Fitness
At VE–Twin Cities Bouldering, VE–Minneapolis, & VE-Glendale Heights we’ve designed a Yoga & Fitness Program that offers you a variety of daily classes focused on improving your strength, mobility, and overall wellness. Whether you’re looking for pre-climb or post-climb classes with your community, or if you’re in need of a restorative practice on your rest days, we’ve got you covered.

WORKSHOPS & Series
In addition to our weekly group fitness classes, we offer a variety of workshops and series. Our workshops and series will dive deep into specific content, and work collaboratively with our local community and other small businesses. We are constantly adding new workshops and series, so continue to check our calendar and or follow us on Facebook to stay up-to-date. Prices for our workshops and series vary.
YOGA
With an updated and contemporary approach to the practice of vinyasa yoga, our Flow format’s been developed with a foundation based in modern biomechanics and exercise science, while embracing some of the more traditional elements in the yoga asana practice. You can expect to link breath with movement, build warmth and awareness in your body, and refine your own personalized mindfulness practice. All levels welcome, no experience required. (Mat required) Registration required. Available for sign up at TCB,MPLS. and VEG.
YOGA: Extended FLOW
Our Extended Flow class is a 75 minute opportunity to dissect challenging yoga postures. Expect ample time to warm-up, vigorous flows, and to refine postures by breaking down their essential components with ease, integrity, and stability. Class finishes with extended meditation and rest. An established yoga practice is recommended before attending. (Mat required) Available at TCB only.
YOGA: EXPRESS FLOW
Our Express Flow format is a 45 minute class that gets you moving and flowing with the postures and breath. Like our Flow classes, Express Flow still links breath with movement, builds awareness in the body, and creates a mindful experience. All levels welcome, no experience required. (Mat required.) YOGA: RECOVER & RESTORE
An excellent counterbalance to the physical and mental intensity of climbing, our Recover & Restore format offers space to mellow out and down-regulate your nervous system. You’ll explore passive stretching, restorative shapes, three-dimensional breathing, and simple meditation techniques within a warm and relaxing environment. All levels welcome, no experience required. (Mat Required) Available for sign up at TCB.
YOGA: SLOW FLOW
Slow down, move with intention, and find a practice anchored by the breath. Expect longer holds in postures, which offers the opportunity to fine tune, explore shapes, and build heat gradually. Class finishes with mellow stretches and space for rest. (Mat required.) Available for sign up at MPLS.
YOGA: HATHA YOGA
Hatha Yoga, literally translated as Discipline of Force, utilizes as balanced approach towards yoga practice. Participants can expect a practice that is equal parts invigorating and calming, building up not only physical strength and flexibility, but also mental and physical relaxation and focus. Hatha is designed to accommodate mixed-level participants. (Mat required.) Available for sign up at VEG.
STRENGTH & FITNESS
CLASS INFORMATION
- Waiver and COVID-19 Related Assumption of Risk statement must be signed by participant.
- Check in with our staff at the front desk before class.
- Bring a mat! If you do not have a mat, you can rent one.
- Masks are optional for those who are fully vaccinated. For those who are not fully vaccinated, masks are still required in common areas of the facility, as well as yoga & fitness areas.
- Create community, but keep your distance. Please adhere to social distancing requirements. Mat space is marked in the studio in accordance to this!
- Arrive on time. Those who arrive late will not be permitted into class, to keep our instructors & participants safe. Please arrive 15 minutes early and allowing extra time if you need to fill out a waiver, have questions about membership, or need a facility orientation.
RESERVATION ONLY
All classes are by reservation only. Please book your spot in advance. Everyone must check-in at the front counter with a member of VE staff, there will be no self-scan-in. Every Member, Customer, and Guest in the Facility must sign a New Waiver and COVID-19-Related Assumption of Risk Statement. Access the waiver here and fill it out ahead of time.

Please arrive 15 minutes early for class to check-in at the front desk. No late arrivals will be allowed once class has started.
Non-registered or walk up participants will be granted access to class if not at capacity. Walk-ups can be granted access up to 15 minutes before the start of class, so be sure to arrive early!
CANCELLATION POLICY
We have a 2 hour cancellation window for all classes on the schedule. If you cancel your spot within 2 hours of the start time, you will not receive a refund of your booking fee, or punch pass. Members will be charged a $10 no show fee. Outside of the 2 hour window, you can relocate or cancel your booking free of charge. You can cancel by calling the facility. Reminder: Any fees owned or past due must be paid before facility access is granted.
- If no one is registered for class. It will be cancelled the day before the scheduled class. Registration for classse opens two weeks ahead of time.
