TCB Pop-Up Competition Recap
On 8.22.2024 VE Twin Cities Bouldering hosted a pop-up competition on their Snake Wall. This competition had everything. Easy beginner routes to difficult open level routes. Precarious and delicate slab climbs. Dynamic run and jump competition style climbs. Mind bending and body morphing puzzle climbs, and so much more. 20 problems thoughtfully crafted on TCB’s snake wall. With fresh holds and volumes, this competition was one to remember. 110 climbers competed to see who was the best of the best, and to have fun!
Why do a pop-up competition? This format of climbing competition provides a fun and social way to compete, test your skills, and practice. It’s a great way to experience the thrills of a competition without taking it too seriously. No prizes for top place finishers, just bragging rights. Instead the physical prizes were all raffled off! Simple, just submit your scorecard and you are entered into raffle!
