Rock Climbing For Your Next Group/Team Building/Birthday Party
Let’s set the scene. You are 30 feet off the ground, your arms are a little pumped, and the little voice in your head is doubting if you can make the next move. You look down and see 20 of your close friends/coworkers/group. They yell up at you, encourage you, “you got it!” You dip your sweaty, nervous hands into your chalk bag and go for it… you fall… but the auto belay gently catches you, slowly lowering you back to the ground, back to your group. You failed, but you went for it. Your friends/coworkers/group gather around you and tell you how impressive it was to see you go all out for it, give it everything you had. You trade off on the auto belay and the psych continues.
This is just one scene that plays out repeatedly with a group event or party at Vertical Endeavors.
Rock climbing is for all ages and abilities. Through climbing together, we can grow together. We can support each other and encourage each other to take a step outside our comfort zone.

So, what makes climbing a spectacular experience for a birthday party or group event? While climbing has dramatically increased in popularity over the last several decades, it is still a niche activity. Climbing provides a thrilling experience in an exciting environment. As individuals we can find routes that challenge us, from complete novice to elite, there are routes for everyone. Routes to succeed on and feel good, as well as routes to challenge. As a group we get to rally together and encourage each other, there is nothing cooler than watching someone you know push and challenge themselves.

Group Events:
$30/person, 10-person minimum, rental harnesses and experienced instructor included (Duluth pricing will vary, call the facility for pricing information).
Plan, dates fill up fast, events must be booked 3 weeks in advance.
Perfect for church groups, scout troops, corporate team building, and bachelor/bachelorette parties.
Birthday Parties:
$30/person, 8-person minimum, rental harnesses and experienced instructor included (Duluth pricing will vary, call the facility for pricing information).
Party room available at VE St. Paul & VE Glendale Heights, $25/half hour.
Rooms equipped with tables, chairs, sink, countertop, and fridge. You can bring your own food, decorations, and tableware.
Plan, dates fill up fast, events must be booked 3 weeks in advance.

We celebrated our daughter’s 12th birthday party here with 5 of her friends on a Saturday morning. Our 8 and 7 year old kids also joined us. ALL of the kids had a wonderful time; they all climbed for the 2 hours, then we used the private party room to have lunch and cake!
Ethan from VE was our instructor for the party, and he was AMAZING. All of the kids were pretty new to climbing, and he gave them a great intro and then paid such close attention to them the entire two hours. He helped them manually belay when the kids asked, and he gave them tips and pumped them up to keep going. We were super impressed with how wonderful he was with the kids!
The private party room was perfect: a great size for all of the kids to sit at a table comfortably. It also had a full fridge and a sink! We kept the gifts and food there while the kids climbed.
The facility itself was so impressive, with lots of climbing options and many auto belays which the kids enjoyed a lot.
All in all, this was our most favorite kids party venue yet; we felt really relaxed and had a fun time watching and helping the kids. Thank you to Vertical Endeavors for a great birthday party climbing experience!
