Vertical Endeavors Refund, Return & Cancellation Policies
Climbing gear
Climbing gear of a protective nature is not returnable.
Returns on merchandise that is not protective in nature:
- Merchandise must have been purchased at Vertical Endeavors within the prior 30-days
- Products that have manufacturing defects must be submitted to the manufacturer by the customer
- Merchandise must be in its original packaging, unused, and in new condition
10–visit Passes (Punch Cards)
All sales are final. There are no returns or refunds on unused or partially used 10-visit Passes/Punch Cards
10-visit Passes/Punch Cards do not expire
Are valid at ALL Vertical Endeavors locations, except those purchased at the Duluth facility are only valid at VE-Duluth
Are transferrable and can be shared with your friends & family
Gift Cards
All Gift Card sales are final. There are no returns or refunds on unused or partially used Gift Cards
Gift Cards do not expire

Memberships
All membership sales are final, there are no refunds, except for the following provisions:
IF YOU WISH TO CANCEL IN THE FIRST THREE DAYS AFTER INITIAL PURCHASE:
“MEMBERS” RIGHT TO CANCEL”
- If you wish to cancel a membership contract, you may cancel by delivering or mailing a written notice to the Vertical Endeavors business office
- The notice must say that you do not wish to be bound by the contract and must be delivered or mailed before midnight of the third business day after you sign this contract
- The notice must be delivered or mailed to: Vertical Endeavors 845 Phalen Blvd. St Paul, MN 55106
- If you cancel, Vertical Endeavors will return, within ten days of the date on which you give notice of cancellation, any payments you have made
IF YOU WISH TO FREEZE OR CANCEL A MONTH TO MONTH MEMBERSHIP:
Update your month to month membership with the membership update request form.
Month-to-Month EFT, Climb Team, and Club Memberships are billed on an ongoing monthly basis, therefore, any Membership changes, including Freezes and Cancellations, must be submitted by the 1st of the Month in order to be applied to that month’s billing
PREPAID YEARLY MEMBERSHIPS CANNOT BE FROZEN, SUSPENDED, TERMINATED, OR PUT ON HOLD FOR ANY REASON.
If the facility is closed for any reason such as a force majeure event, a private event, or competition, it will not extend the membership contract dates
Memberships are non-transferable
Yoga & Fitness
Registration: Online or in-person. Space is limited. No late arrivals will be allowed once class has started. Everyone must check-in at the front counter with a member of VE staff, there will be no self-scan-in. Non-registered or walk up participants will be granted access to class if not at capacity. Walk-ups can be granted access up to 15 minutes before the start of class, so be sure to arrive early!
Payment: Full payment is required to reserve a spot. (Members:$0 , Punch Card Users: 1 punch off pass, Non- Members: $20)
Cancellation & Refund: We have a 2 hour cancellation window for all classes on the schedule. If you cancel your spot within 2 hours of start time, you will not receive a refund of your booking fee, or punch pass added back to your account.
Members will be charged a $10 no show fee. Outside of the 2 hour window, you can relocate or cancel your booking free of charge. You can cancel by calling the facility. Reminder: Any fees owed or past due must be paid before facility access is granted.
* If no one is registered for class, it will be cancelled the day before the scheduled class. Registration for classes opens two weeks ahead of time.
* If a class or workshop is cancelled be Vertical Endeavors, due to low enrollment, weather, or any other circumstance, participants will be notified via email, social media, or phone and can either apply their payment to a new date or receive a full refund.
No refunds will be made for “No Shows”
*A “No Show” is a person who registers for a program or event but does not cancel registration or attend the program or event
Minimum: 4 participants
Maximum: Maximum numbers are location & class type specific.
What to Bring: Bring a mat & be sure to check in at the front desk before the start of class.
Please arrive 15 minutes early for class to check-in at the front desk. No late arrivals will be allowed once class has started.
Adult Climb League
Registration: Online or in-person
Payment: Full payment is required to register for Adult Climb League. Registrations are accepted at any time even if participation in Minimum: Adult Climb League requires a minimum of 4 participants. If ACL session is canceled due to low participation a full refund will be given.
Cancellation: A 25% cancellation fee will apply for cancellations less than 2 weeks prior to beginning of event. A 50% cancellation fee will apply for cancellations less than 48 hours in advance of the event. Cancellations will be accepted via phone, fax or e-mail.
Refunds: No refunds will be given once an event begins. If an Adult Climb League session is cancelled due to low enrollment, a full refund will be given.
Minimum Participants: 4 participants
Maximum Participants: No maximum
Camps
Registration: Online or in-person. Space is limited. We recommend registering at least 1 month prior to the first day of your desired camp session.
Payment: Full payment is required to reserve a spot.
Cancellation: Cancellations will be accepted via phone or e-mail. A $50.00 cancellation fee will be charged for any cancellation after registration. A 25% cancellation fee will apply for cancellations less than 2 weeks prior to beginning of event. A 50% cancellation fee will apply for cancellations less than 48 hours in advance of the event. Cancellations will be accepted via phone, fax or e-mail. If a camp session is cancelled due to low enrollment, participants will be notified 2 weeks in advance of week-long camps or 1 week in advance of one-day camps.
Refunds: No refunds will be given once a camp begins. If a camp is cancelled due to low enrollment a full refund will be given
Minimum: 6 participants
Maximum: Maximum numbers are location specific and are determined 2 weeks prior to start of camp session.
Climb Teams + Clubs
Registration: In person registration required upon completion of any pre-requisites. Interest Lists will be maintained for participants waiting on a spot to open up on Teams and Clubs that have reached their maximum capacity. Enrolled participants will be notified at least 2 weeks prior to the first practice of each month. Participants can transfer their enrollment to another day or time on a space available basis.
Payment: Payments are made via an automatic Electronic Funds Transfer on the 5th of each month once enrollment begins.
Cancellation: Cancellations are due by the 1st of each month, giving one month notice of intent to cancel. (Example: For cancelling a Team enrollment as of June 1st (to avoid June 5th billing), your online Change Request must be received by May 1st)
Refund: No refunds will be given for cancellations received after the 5th of the month.
Minimum: 6 participants
Maximum: Maximum numbers are location-specific and will be determined 2 weeks prior to the first practice in the upcoming month.
CWA Certification Programs
Payment: Full payment is required to reserve/schedule your event.
Cancellation: A 25% cancellation fee will apply for cancellations less than 2 weeks prior to beginning of event. A 50% cancellation fee will apply for cancellations less than 48 hours in advance of the event. Cancellations will be accepted via phone or e-mail.
Refund: No refunds will be given once an event begins. If a program is cancelled due to low enrollment, a full refund will be given
Maximum: There are no set maximums for these programs.
Group Events
Registration: Online request form, via phone, or in-person. We require a 3 weeks advance notice to schedule your group event. Contact the facility directly if attempting to reserve with less than 3 weeks notice and we will attempt to accommodate your group.
Payment: A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve/schedule your group event. The balance for the event is due on the day of the event. Birthday Party Groups must pay for a minimum of 8 climbers. All other groups must pay for a minimum of 10 climbers. Your $50 deposit is applied towards the total on the day of the event. The balance for the event is due the day of the event.
Cancellation: Will be accepted via phone or email. Group leaders should Contact the facility directly when canceling a group.
Refund: The $50.00 deposit is non-refundable, however, groups can reschedule provided VE is notified 48 hours prior to the scheduled event for a $10.00 Rescheduling Fee. Groups will be required to reschedule the event within three months of the original scheduled date or will forfeit the deposit. Groups can reschedule for a $10 Rescheduling Fee, provided VE is notified 48 hours prior to the event. Groups will be required to reschedule the event within three months of the original scheduled date or will forfeit the deposit. Requests to reschedule an event with less than 48 hour notice will be considered a cancellation and a new $50 deposit will be required to schedule a new date. If Vertical Endeavors determines that a participant, participants, or entire group must be removed from the group event or the group event must end prematurely because of inappropriate conduct by participants, there will be no refund of any kind.”
Minimum: 8 participants for scheduled birthday party groups and 10 participants for all other groups
Maximum: The maximum number varies by the size of the location but can range from 200-500 participants. Please contact the facility directly for large groups.
Lessons + Clinics
Registration: Online or in-person. Classes do fill up so we encourage customers to make reservations as far in advance as possible.
Payment: Full payment is required to reserve a place in a Lesson or Clinic.
Cancellation: A 25% cancellation fee will apply for cancellations less than 2 weeks prior to beginning of event. If 24 hours notice is given your payment may be applied to a clinic or lesson on another available date.
Refund: No refunds will be given once an event begins. No late arrivals will be allowed once a lesson or clinic has started. (Important safety information is given from the very beginning of our lessons and clinics and cannot be missed). If a lesson or event is cancelled be Vertical Endeavors, due to low enrollment, weather, or any other circumstance, participants will be notified via email, social media, or phone and can either apply their payment to a new date or receive a full refund. If the instructor determines that a participant must be removed from the lesson or event for inappropriate conduct, there will be no refund of any kind.
Minimum: Lessons and Clinics require a minimum of 3 participants. The decision to cancel a lesson or clinic due to low participation is made at least 24 hours in advance and all participants will be notified via phone or email. Payments can be moved to a future date or refunded in full.
Maximum: Location-specific. Lessons and Clinics are generally capped at 9-15 participants.
Merit Badge Days
Registration: Online or in-person. We recommend registering for Merit Badge Days at least 3 weeks prior to the event.
Payment: Full payment is required to reserve a spot for Merit Badge Days.
Cancellation: A 25% cancellation fee will apply for cancellations less than 2 weeks prior to beginning of event. If 24 hours notice is given your payment may be applied to a Merit Badge event on another available date.
Refund: No refunds will be given once an event begins. If a program gets canceled due to low enrollment, participants will be notified via email or phone and can either move their payment to a new date, or receive a full refund.
Minimum: Merit Badge programs require a minimum of 6 participants.
Maximum: 24 participants
Vertical Endeavors Guided Adventures (VEGA)
Registration: Online or in-person. We recommend registering for VEGA programs at least 3 weeks prior to the event.
Payment: Full payment is required to reserve your event.
Cancellation: Cancellation: A 25% cancellation fee will apply for cancellations less than 2 weeks prior to beginning of event. A 50% cancellation fee will apply for cancellations less than 48 hours in advance of the event. Cancellations will be accepted via phone or e-mail.
Weather Cancellations: If VEGA needs to cancel the program for any reason or inclement weather (done prior to the guide departing to meet your group), you may elect to transfer registration to another program, provided such a program is scheduled and space is available. If no program is available a full refund will be provided by VEGA.
Other Cancellations: If VEGA Guides determine that a participant must be removed from the program for inappropriate or illegal conduct, VEGA will not provide a refund of any kind. The guide has the authority to terminate any program or portion of, due to weather, health or safety concerns.
Refunds: No refunds will be given once an event begins (once the guide/s have departed to meet your group). No refunds will be made for “No Shows” (a “No Show” is a person who registers for a program but who does not cancel registration or attend the program). Refunds will be processed as they are received or after the conclusion of the program, depending on the program date and when cancellation occurs. Refunds may take 5-7 business days to process.

Maximum Participants: No maximum
Competitions + Events
Registration: Online or in-person. Competition or event dates do fill up so we encourage customers to make reservations as far in advance as possible.
Payment: Full payment is required to reserve a place in a competition or event
Cancellation: A 25% cancellation fee will apply for cancellations less than 2 weeks prior to beginning of event. If 24 hours notice is given your payment may be applied to a competition or event on another available date.
Refund: No refunds will be given once an event begins. No late arrivals will be allowed once a competition or event has started. (Important safety information is given from the very beginning of our lessons and clinics and cannot be missed). If a competition or event is cancelled be Vertical Endeavors, due to low enrollment, weather, or any other circumstance, participants will be notified via email, social media, or phone and can either apply their payment to a new date or receive a full refund. If the instructor determines that a participant must be removed from the lesson or event for inappropriate conduct, there will be no refund of any kind.
Minimum: Competition or event require a minimum of 3 participants. The decision to cancel a lesson or clinic due to low participation is made at least 24 hours in advance and all participants will be notified via phone or email. Payments can be moved to a future date or refunded in full.
