Full Time Group Sales + Programs Coordinator
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain a healthy relationship with existing customers
- Establish new relationships through cold calls, e-mailers, social media, and expos
- Communicate with Facility Managers and the Marketing Department to create and maintain signage and other promotional material
- Prepare monthly, weekly and daily programs analysis
- Facilitate a variety of group climbing events and workshops ranging from birthday parties to technical clinics
- Train and evaluate staff on program facilitation and expectations
- Maintain a database of customer contacts
- Monitor promotional and marketing materials to determine return on investment
- Assist with daily front counter operations as necessary
- Identify potential customers and their needs through new programs and outreach
- Attend expos to develop and maintain contact with potential clients and professional bodies
Experience and Qualifications
- Passionate, hard worker and well organized professional with ability to prioritize and multitask
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Display sound judgment and preserve confidentiality
- Lead and manage staff in a constructive manner; act as liaison between departments
- Able to work both in a team setting and be self-sufficient
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- 2+ years sales experience and training in phone sales preferred
- 2+ years Climbing experience preferred
- 1 year experience working with youth and large groups preferred
Expectations
- 39-40 Hours per week
- Evening and weekend availability required
- Must display professionalism and integrity
- Must provide current driver’s license and vehicle insurance
- Available to work special events, competitions, sales events, etc.
